Depends on the terrain and the amount of rolling it did. I've seen the aftermath of a 2001 H1 that rolled in the Glamis Sand Dunes. It was still driveable, with holes punched in the roof where the roof rack supports were placed.

Other rollovers could be more destructive.

There's a clip of an H1 owner for fun puting his H1 on its side with no noticeable damage. I say that because he keeps doing it for people. I have the clip. Ever use an articulation ramp?

On an H1 or an H2, you will end up with one wheel off the ground when using an articulation ramp. It's inherent due to the independent suspension on the trucks....more so on the H1 than the H2.

I have seen picture of a H1 in the Phoenix area that rollover do 50 MPH on a dirt road. No damage to the H1 at all. They just roll it back over and went on down the road with it.

Seth, what's worse is the dumb arse walked away from the truck . I guess he forgot about the passenger .

You have to really try hard to flip an H1. I've been in some pretty sticky situations where as the driver you feel dam uneasy only to find out that your not even close to flipping. I've never seen a flip first hand but the few times I've heard about it usually involve extreme slopes and complete tire failure, bead break, no runflats, etc.

The one story I've heard had an h1 roll over and down a steep hill. Understand the roll cage held and the truck though banged up pretty bad was driveable, in fact they drove it the remainder of the weekend trail ride w.o. problem. Still I suspect a big part of what damage is done is what and where you roll. On sand or soft dirt your damage will be less than rolling on heavy rock or in to tree's. etc. Lots of variables in answering the question. Regardless not something I'm sure any of us want to discover.

My 96 Hummer was rolled, bought it used, never knew about it until talking with the original owner.
There was no visble damage, although the top had minor dents which were fixed. He said not even the mirrors broke!
They are certianly tough, considering mine weighs 8400lbs.

I have seen pics of a white H1 wagon on it's roof, and no damage. They really only get damaged when one has a roof rack installed, then it pokes holes in the roof.
