Just an update, I drained the tank using the pump. Attached a tube to the out nipple of the fuel filter and jumped the relay in the engine compartment and emptied out 18 gal.s in 10 minutes. Bone dry...

HUMTECH, That worked like a charm. The tank is completely empty, there was 18 gallon's of gas in there. Now I have another issue thrown at me. The tank strap bolt is so rusted at the strap I'm afraid...

HUMTECH, When I turn the key to position two the pump come's on then stops. Do you mean by jumping the relay it will continue to pump? Thanks

I tried that, I pulled the fill tube right off the tank but there seems to be some sort of anti siphon plug in there you can't get a hose into it?

Let me throw this out here, would it be better to put the jack stands under the frame to let the axle be at its lowest point or should i put the stands under the axle? Just trying to think ahead here...

My 03 H2 needs a new fuel pump. Its leaking at the lines coming out of the top of the pump. The lines coming from the top of the pump have rust all over them and there is gas stains in the ring...

jsbihn, I looked under the column at the bottom cover and there are holes but there are not any screw heads in there just empty space? About the tilt knob, does this just pull out of the column or is...

I forgot to mention, I did not lose power. I just hopped in the truck this morning and the key would not turn. Its almost like the wrong key being put in the ignition. This really is troubling...
