hey dennis everyone says to stay off the trails when there is snow i guess it can fill up rutts and holes and hide the drop offs . we just do the mountain roads , whats weird is there was about 4 inches in town and we drove up to see if we could get some shots of Lions covered with snow but most had melted in just a couple hours . i think the rock holds heat longer but when it dumps all that gets icey too . it was funny the town just about cleared out 2 days before the storm . guess most people leave when the storms come
