I too loved the snow in my H3 and had the same blade problems everyone else has. I tried O'Riley's all weather split blad and it wasn't much better than stock. The final solution is Blizzard Blade in WI. A heated wiper that fits on stock arms with little drilling and modification.
There are some old posts with them on my H3 - they're a pain to wire, but once you have them you're spoiled! I discovered these while I was in the Yukon Territory. Lots of people use heated wipers up there and there are several brands.
