I was afraid to tell you guys this, but since the statute of limitations has run out, I can now.
I called the restaurant about an hour later to apologize to the waitress that you all thought gassed up the place only to find out the place had been shut down. Something about HazMat, health code violations, airborn fecal matter, drtyfn... I don't know, but I sure wouldn't eat there again.
