Stay safe and low if things start flying. I'm sorry I did not know when You were scheduled to leave! I was off for awhile trying to deal with heart problems the doc said I should not be seeing till 70 years of age and I just turned 51. Between 3yr GI bleed and punishing my body in sports my whole life as I knew no other gear except high gear. Well, I have damaged the heart so that surgery, Doc says, is only fix. I knew You were deploying just not when and bothers me that I was not able to wish you safe trip there and back. I do not like goodbye as it seems to permanent
Well anyway I will be Praying for your safety as well as Blessings on you and wife. I know as being a military bratt that it is very hard on the wife and kids left at home. If you or wife need special Prayer for anything let me know and I will get it in a Prayer chain ASAP.
I lost my step dad on his 2nd tour in Vietnam, MIA. I lived on Guam at
Anderson AFB at 15years old in 70/71 with B52's landing and taking off ever 15 minutes it seemed. It got to where you just did not notice them after a while. So I know the seriousness of war and will hold You up in Prayer along with some other men and women that I know who have deployed from my church.
