Yesterday was the ceramonial start in Anchorage and today was the official start to the first leg in Willow, Ak. For those that don't know; it's a 1,000 mile dog sled race. The mushers and dogs start in Anchorage, AK and go all the way to Nome, AK. It's March and cold. It was 21 degree's mid day today. But it was pretty awsome to see the teams take off. Lance Makey is the "lance armstrong" of the sport, so it was pretty cool to see him take off. Well, here's some pics, enjoy!
