Plus, truck must be running for hydraulic to work. Don't know if you can winch and steer simultaneously. I'll probably go with a dual yellow top set up and an isolator from Hellroaring. And you're right, it ain't pretty!
Yes, the powersteering pumps on the H2 are better off left alone. I have already replaced mine! So I couldn't imagine running anything else that would cause extra strain.

Didn't effect the way it folds down, and no dents, bends or even any rino coating hurt at all!..So there goes your therory right out the window! Everyone that has ever seen it loves it, and coments on how heavy it is...this thing is solid steel and built...not some thin grade alum, or light gage steel. Now it does weigh alot more than any other I have seen, and it took 4 big guys and two floor jacks to get it inplace! And if you go with it, be prepaired to upgrade your front suspention. With the extra weight upfront, I have noticed and improved ride as well. I don't work for them, and not trying to sell anyone on it..I like that mine is the only one like it that I have ever seen in person...I like to be different!
May I ask what you did to the front end? Please reply here or PM. Whichever you prefer.

Tower,
I replaced the tie rods, steering stabilizer, and shocks with parts from fabtech. All work including the bumper was done by Offroad Inovations.

dk,
I truely can't recall what all it cost me...seems like the bumper was around $1200 to $1500, plus about $500 in shipping, and to have it rino lined, and the other modifications was about another $500, + 10,000 lb.warn winch...think it cost another $900 or so. But I truely don't remember the total cost....but hey it is only money...and I love my hummers. I have 2 03' h2's, (one for hunting, and then my daily driver, and my wife has the h3. Would have bought my 15 year old son an sut, but he wanted a GMC Z71 instead.
