ok, well my question concerns the h3 wheels, not the chrome ones, just the regular ones, how come some of them have a black peice in the center that says HUMMER and some(mine) have a silver one? is it because my h3 is grey?

I've never saw them like that before, I would imagine it was a custom deal the dealership had done.

Someboody painted the black part in this last picture silver to match the rest of the wheel. That's custom. The standard wheels on the H3 come with the black "lever". But I believe if you upgrade and get the chrome wheels that the bar is chrome as well.

The silver looks pretty good to me. I have black and have never seen the silver without crome wheels.

Actually, when you see the standard black ones spinning when you drive down the road it looks pretty cool. It's one of the subtle Hummer distinctions.

Just ask your dealer to swap them out for the black ones. As long as they're not scratched up, shouldn't be a problem.

Last week at local dealer for oil change I noticed several new ones with the silver bars .I do prefer the black they stand out .Several also had the torx screw on the front hooks for easy removal to install brushgards. Also many had the headreast dvd installed I wish I got that deal.
