Everytime I get into the H2 (2003) I have to adjust the seat over and over again. I have tried saving it over a 100 times and it does not remember. Is there a fix for this? Can the agency fix this problem or are we just scresed?

I'm sure Klaus will enlighten us. I have a similar problem...my memory works about 70% of the time...but every now and then it gets goofy. The service dept. says they are working on a fix and may have it soon.

What I'm wondering is if my 3-year warranty runs out..are they off the hook for such repairs cause they stalled it long enough?

Mine has done the same thing from time to time. I found that setting the VIC to recall seat memory when the key is inserted instead of when the remote is activated seems to solve the problem.

I've already had 2 seat modules replaced and I am still having problems. Apparently replacing the seat module is not the answer as they are having problems with those too. The last thing I was told was they are working on another fix to correct the problem.

GM has been working on an updated memory seat module. This is a very common problem. The new module was suppossed to be out by the end of the year. The latest word I've heard is February. So hopefully it will show up soon. Anybody who has been having memory seat module problems that are someway documented at your
dealership, can get an updated module regardless of mileage or age once the fix comes out. GM doesn't work that way where they try to stall until you're out of warranty before they release a fix.

Ditto. I have mine set that way & never had a problem. Couple times it thought I was driver two but just activate remote & it corrects itself.
