There was a post a while back about the Zoomers exhaust for the H3. I got one and put it on my demo and love it. There's very good response, it's a deeper sound than the SMA or GM exhuast, and the install was fairly painless. There is a noticeable increase in performance also, I just don't know if that's just me imaginging it.

This isn't an advertisement for them, just wanting to post my comments.

How about the interior sound level? Any change?

When you say GM exhaust, do you mean the original one or the new GM exhaust that just came out.

The new GM exhaust that just came out. I was not impressed at all. It does not have a huge drone at highway speed. It's loud when it should be, and not loud when you don't want it to be.

What is the gm part number and do they have a picture on their website yet. Have you seen or heard the gm system yet on an H3?

I think he's saying he didn't like or was not impressed with the GM exhaust and that the Zoomers was much deeper sounding. So he did have it on his truck at one time.

I was curious to see what GM came out with new, since the H3 is relatively new, why the change already.

That's why he's changed already.

The GM system had a loud drone at highway speeds and didn't have any "rumble" to it. Also, the tips are not chrome, they looked exactly like the stock muffler with just another tip on it. My camera is out of batteries, but I'll get some pictures of it on Monday.

To answer everyone's question, I'm the Accessories Manager at a Hummer dealership where all of our salespeople have demo vehicles, so I have a big fleet of vehicles I can test stuff on.

So far, I've tried the SMA/Billy Boat Exhaust, GM Exhaust, Zoomers, and I have a Corsa on order. I've "eliminated" SMA and GM, and Corsa is going to have to blow me away from going with the Zoomer exhaust as our stock option.

Quick update on my Zoomers exhaust. I can definitely say there is no drone at highway speeds. First tank of gas since and got 18MPG. Don't know if it's attributable to the exhaust/intake combo so let's wait and see. I've been driving in very light traffic. Prior I got 16MPG on almost every tank. First tank was 15 1/2. All for now.

There's a whole thread with pictures. No need to clutter this one.

You're the best judge of that man. It's the best H3 exhaust I've heard, but I'm not sure what that's worth to you. Some people are looking to spend about $300 max on their exhaust, others don't care as long as it sounds good.

Hey aggie, thanks for the props on our exhaust, glad you like it... I talked to Jason this morning and for those of you that don't know he runs these forums, anyway Zoomers will be a supporting vendor here and we'll be offering the new H3 exhaust to you at a special group price. Stay tuned for the details on a new thread.
