Harley!?

I feel better, I was just a little off this morning. I really really really want to see the movie "Jarhead" today. It is directed by Sam Mendes, "American Beauty" "Road to Perdition" I like his style. So I'm going to check it out today, hopefully.

Might have to go see it sometime. Last time I was in a movie theater, besides 2 kid's movies, was for "Titanic."

I slept 'til 9.

Because I was up 'til 3 with a sick kid whose final ralph traveled horizontally to land on her bed, floor and me.

It's a honey-do day. My wife gave me a punch list even before the a.m. b.m. arrived.

It's a cloudy day in Vegas and really cold. Chili is a good idea.

It isn't cold enough here for Chili. But I made some recently when it was. Yummy.

I use 2 cans stewed tomatoes w/ little green peppers, a chopped white onion, 1 can whole tomatoes, chili powder to taste, a little garlic salt, salt & pepper, 2 small cans of tomato sauce, a little basil, 2 cans red kidney beans undrained and 2 lbs ground beef browned with a little worcestershire and chili powder, but I never use a recipe. I don't like it real hot with so much chili powder it's brown looking.

I just taste every now and then and let it simmer all day. Serve with shredded Sharp Cheddar on top along with oven toasted butter and parmesean french bread. But it is better the next day. Chili, Pot Roast, Stew and soups are the only things I will eat again generally.

P- "JarHead" is a movie about a man's experience in the Corps. during Desert Storm. Not going to see it today, maybe tomorrow.

Rodster- that sucks getting the list prior to your morning SSS and being up most of the night with the excorcist. Sorry.

Oh yeah. That's some chili!

I cook Jamaican jerk chicken like no white man should and habaneros are one of the ingredients.

Friends that come over for it once don't come back.
