Default Paragon Adventure Park, June 26, 2006

Let me tell you, today was an absolute, from out of left field blast! Let me start from the beginning.

Lately, if someone mumbles Paragon, I?m at the gate. Bearing this in mind, several weeks ago I received a pm from CP asking if I would show H2 ROCKS around Paragon Adventure Park. Then started this thread http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17533

I was leaving for Indiana, where I met Rocks and hubby and kids. Briefly, but we did speak for awhile. I told her that I was trying everyway to get a third truck, Park rules, to go with us. Well, Hi Mobility came through. But here is where it gets weird.

You know the weather we have been having the last several days. What with heavy rains, as much as 7? in parts, and flash floods everywhere, the outing was looking doubtful.

This morning HiMob called me about ? hour late. Something?s up. Rain has slowed him down. Doubled his normal driving time to Paragon. He finally shows up at the hotel in a torrential downpour. Looking dimmer each minute. He knows the park extremely well. He is almost recommending to cancel because of what could be very adverse conditions. We are having a last cup of coffee when we all decide to see what could be there. After all, someone just drove cross country and I had to treat her to the East?s finest!

When we walked out of the hotel, I noticed it wasn?t raining anymore. As a matter of fact, I did not turn on my wipers the REST OF THE DAY! It turned out to be a fantastic day. Only 2 quads and us were in the whole park! One trail looked like a river. Water above the seals on the bottom of my doors. I watched it climb that high on Rocks truck.

With kids in tow, she did a great job of wheeling.

I lost my camera last week at the Homecoming, but I am sure Rocks has a few pictures she?ll post.

Rocks, have a great trip. Drive safely.

Anytime, I?ll be there.

Anyone else need to be shown around?

Sweet! I thought for sure it was going to rain all day. Especially with you there.

Wish I could've made it.

Rocks brought the good weather with her.
