looks bad ass show...did you lift the body or suspension? tires are 34's ehhh?? fills out truck nice. i think if it was me, i'd buy that offset key on ebay for a buck and half and level the front clearance from tire to fender. i may do same thing, but with 33's.

Thanks. It doesn't have a lift of any kind. The tires are 33.8 to be exact and I think they fill it out nicely. What's an offset key? Fill me in with what that does exactly......is the front clearance off???

not real knowledgable about the lift leveling kit. i hear it raises the front up to inch and half. all you need to do is get an alignment after. i think it would look good on your truck. see if the link below works. if not go to ebay and punch in hummer h3, be on page 4.

With a height of 33.8" there isn't much difference over stock, but do you see a performance difference since changing tires?

Not really a performance difference. The ride is still surprisingly smooth. There's a small buzzzzz on the highway but that's about it for noise........and music on the Monsoon takes care of that  The tires do stick a little better to dry pavement. It's not something that's noticeable though. What's going to be sweet is when I take this bad boy out on some trails. Apparently the tires are great for rocks and mud, so it should be a good time romping through some slush. |

MTRs are great on wet pavement. They have great puncture resistant sidewalls, and look really agressive. They do hum a little, but there's nothing wrong with that. My wife tells me she can here my truck down the street, when I am about 5 houses away, and she's outside.

Looks good! I would lose the side steps before taking it on any serious trail though. I am looking forward to wheeling with some H3's in Durango/Moab next month. Should be interesting.

I know you haven't been off road yet, but have you cranked the wheels all the way to see how much room is up front (left and right) The one pics look really close, but pics cannot show everything either.
Can you post some pics with the wheels turned all the way? What offest did you go with and how far out do they really stick outsdie the wheel wells? Lost of qustions, I know, but curious.

no i don't Zing...someone on here posted info about it a couple weeks ago in the customizing catagory. There is directions that come with the kit. Remember reading that you jack the front end up, and use a socket to move the torsion bar. I"m sure these other guys on here know how this is done. Im thinking about getting this done myself

Boulder, I have no experience with lift kits, but as I look under my rig (H2) lifting looks complicated. I heard from a few people now that these things are pretty easy and I'm really curious what that means. If you find another thread on this please do refer us to it. Thx.

Zing, those are the adjustable keyways, I believe. Ask Phil about them. I remember a few discussions about them in the past and they can wreak havoc on your front end.
