Many other forums do this and it does work.

We need buisness cards. With the h2 source logo and URL. Members would buy a pack of cards so when they see a H2 parked or run into another owner they can "tag"(place the card) and get new members on the board.

I'm thinking if this does work out packs of say 30 cards/stickers to hand out to future members.

Doesn't work. Or atleast it doesn't work in my area. I think people tend to think that you are trying to sell something. I have even talked to some face to face and they seem disinterested. Probably 1 reason is a lot of the times I am not driving my Hummer. The other reason is that it is just another car to them.

Of course I am only thinking about my area and nobody elses.

I agree with Ck, I tried to put my business card on a few H2's with site info on the back as well as a mention of our Hummer Socal group. Never a phone call, just ignored. I guess some people just bought them for different reasons.

It seems like most folks excited about their new H2's would do a Google Search on "Hummer H2" or "H2 Forum" or some such. If they do, they will find this Forum.

I have to agree with Texas Red. When I got my H2 I was so excited, I was searching yahoo for anything to do with the H2. Thats how I found this site. I'm sure that others who are all excited about their purchase would probably do the same.

I agree with Tex and Spike. I was so excited I went straight home and found a couple of sites. Trolled around and joined this one after awhile.

I wouldn't exactly be pleased about anyone putting anything on my truck. I kinda have an issue with people touching my vehicles, regardless of it just being a business card put under the wiper or whatever.

I'm not saying it is a bad idea, I am just weird when it comes to autos.
