After a day at the mud hole, how do you clean the engine bay? Anything special that need to be done before using the high pressure spray?

dawn dishwash soap. Or simple green, carwash soap will also work well just keep the truck running and use a shop vac on blow to blow off any excess water that may be in say the battery terminals, or in the battery try, blow out relays and such when your're done powerwashing or using the hose. You also may want to keep high pressure spray away from or directly off the distributor. use a brush and elbow power to clean the distributor. Keep the sides of the truck wet so that the soap doesn't etch into the paint.

you'll want to use the pressure washer first. if you're concerned about the electronics, i would recommend you cover up everything with some plastic bags and tape them down.

I paid a couple of mexicans to clean the mud and junk off... They did it for 60 bucks at the local hummer dealership.

Peter,

What are you up to tonight?

Wanna swap wives? Same as sharing a bag of pork rinds. Smell the same and crunchy.
