Rear Bumper

My 2008 SUT was delivered with a bend in the rear bumper which causes the bumper to slope to the left. The dealer took the plastic cladding off of it and found that there is a dent in it that makes it hang crooked. The dealer claims it came from the factory this way, as there is no transportation claim on the vehicle.

Anyway, they ordered a new one under warranty. The first one Hummer sent them to install on my new truck was used, dirty and painted black. To the dealer's credit, they called and said they did not want to install it on my truck and that another one would be ordered.

The second bumper came in today. It also is black. When I asked about it, the parts guy said they all come that way and that they are "paint to match." As all new 2008 models have silver painted bumpers, this does not sound right. Can anyone confirm that I should be able to get a new, silver bumper rather than have the dealer paint a black one?

Sorry but they are colored matched at the factory. It's the same one just with the factory paint.
