I really like My stainless steel Dynatech Catback header system. I use the long neck to help with more low end torque. Do not know how much more I get but, at that time last year the performance guys said to stay with the long neck. I eliminated the cross over pipe and made true dual exhaust.

Costs very based on the material used.

409 SS headers are cheaper than 304 SS headers by a considerable amount.

Also the welding type affects quality and price.

Borla headers here, but some on this board have had trouble with them. I haven't.

I had the AiRaid and dumped it in favor of stock with a K&N. With the SC I couldn't seal the filter intake well enough and was getting a high pitched whistle under any acceleration. Two others on this board had the same issue. Several others have not.

All I can tell you is DON'T buy the Edelbrock shorty's. They do not stand behind them if the welds don't hold and they (the welds) won't if you are supercharging. I know of two other H2's here locally that have had the welds crack in the collector on the drivers side and Edelbrock won't do anything to remedy the problem. I am going to the Borla, at least they have a million mile warranty.
