I would guess half the trees had to be climbed, delimbed and taken down in sections. Some of the others were topped and then were felled by using rope and a truck.

I've used a winch several times to take a tree down and keep it from falling towards the way it was leaning.

Please let me know when you need 36" trees toppled down for $2K I'll be glad to fly into MS for that task
