Default H2 Boulder Accessories-How To Install

As you all know you can find these on ebay for a steal right now. I picked mine up for $490.

Step One: Remove Bumper Assembly from truck. To do this you need to remove the daytime running light bulbs from the lenses. After that remove the 2 bolts from the underside of the steel bumper assembly that thread into the frame of the truck. Then remove the 2 bolts found under ther black circular caps found on the top of the bumper assembly just in front of the lower front grill. Now remove the 4 bolts for the front reciever. After the front bumper is off remove front skid plate.

This should take 10-15 minutes tops.

Step Two: Bolt winch plate to where the reciever was mounted and torque to specs.

Step Three: Mount your controller box to the supplied bracket.

Then mount bracked to radiator support and Brake Master Cylinder.

Step Four: Run your Controller and power wires accordingly. Be sure to route them AWAY FROM YOUR BELTS!!!!

Then attach to your controller Box. However do NOT CONNECT your power wires to your battery yet.

Set your winch on top of the plate and lay it on its front so that you can attach the wires to the motor. The flip it back back and bolt it down.

You can see it sits nicly between frame horns.
