My filler door decided to break today, and was just flapping around, so I lightly pulled it out of the socket so I wouldn't become a flying object of death. The pins or whatever holding it in had turned to dust.
I've decided I want zero chrome on my next Hummer. And no evil power folding mirrors either!

Ah, the brakeline! I just went out and traced it to figure out what it was, however the answer was all in the HTML.
It's not too bad (well, it looks worse in the photos), but in a year from now it could be... Thanks for the heads up!
I also figured out that the frame must have been dipped in the waxy coating while being held from the front of the frame. There are little bumps on the back side of all the frame parts that look like drip points.
