Thanks.

A friend of mine at Discount Tire did the balancing, and didn't have any trouble at all.

What brad tires are those? How do they ride around town?

General question to anyone - compared to lets say the OEM tires, how much life can you get out of tires like the ones in this posts pic?

Finding out tires have a shelf life. After six years rubber starts to break down reguardless of the milelage. New manufactors specs coming out on tires at the end of the year.

Thanks for the compliments! Phil did a good job of summing up the ride and life characteristics. I have to say though, that the noise level is pretty bad, especially if you're not used to running some sort of mud tire on the street.

VT, I'll try to take another pic showing how much the tires stick out, which is roughly three inches when measured at top-dead-center of the fender flare, and roughly 5" past the bottom rear edge of the fender flares. Yes, a damp road trashes the truck. Time for extended flares.

It helps if you put pants on.

It looks really nice. Mean looking tires, are they loud on the road?

Edit- read your post on the volume- I think it's pretty bad a$$ when you hear them coming. Anyway, they are nice.

Thanks everyone!

LOL @ H2Co - yeah, my khaki shorts do make it look like I'm pants-less, not to mention a tub-o-lard as well.

KenP, yeah, 37x13.5x18.

3Racing, my truck came w/o roof bars, but yeah, not enough clearance. As it is now, I have about 1.5" of clearance in my garage at work, so the roof bars I got from the dealer (free, after the sale) will probably be sold soon.

Jerry, soon we'll go. I have to get the torsion bars cranked up to prevent rubbing, and I'll be ready. I'm going to get that done when I get my Fabtech front end kit installed next week. This weekend is booked solid anyway, and I have two new puppies (like having a newborn baby in the house. LOL!
