Bought it from the dealer but they have been "blacked out" a ton of ways. Rhino, Line X, paint, etc.

I think that it would look great. Already looks excellent. So best of luck, I would just have it painted, that way if you don't like it, you don't have alot in it.

If you paint it, Take out the little Hummer Rubber Letters with a blowdryer and a hooked awl. Do not paint it Gloss Black, use a satin or a matte or a flat, Try to match the Sheen of the Metal bumper below it, not the rubber but the metal.

We are gonna re do all my black in a Satin Black, its too shiny.
This grill we painted on my rig now was already factory Blue, so no stripping was needed, My original was chrome and I traded a friend for his blue, thus saving me from having to strip the chrome, then prime then paint.

Thanks Jamie

The Porsche shop I frequent did the Grill, H2 emblems, The Airboxes, The Gas Cap Enclosure for me.

Next week hell be doing them over in Satin Black, They look a little shiny to me?

I want to get rid of those Rims and Tires really bad, I was thinking about going back to stock, just wasnt sure how stock rims and tires look with that Rancho 4 inch lift kit? Anybody

I purchased Black door handles and buckets from the dealer and scored a mirror here and another mirror from the dealer, giving me a mirror upgrade, and the dealer is gonna install everything half price for me, long story, cool guy.

Id paint the Stock Rims Black

Don't get me wrong I like the whole set-up, but those painted air box tops are original. Makes the truck stand out. Nice job! I would take the soker wheels and either have them PC'ed black or maybe painted. Have a good one....Jamie

Don't have pics, but I have seen some. I would recommend going to a 35 or 37 inch tire, the factory rims would look fine, just need a little more tire to fill the void with the lift. Just my opinion.
Like the unique look, make sure and post pics when you are done. i am a big fan of the blacked out rigs.

The Grill and Boxes are back in the Paint Shop, gonna do a Satin Black to match the metal Bumpers and the Metal on the Mirrors, The mirrors are also being updated with New H2 mirrors and the Chrome Logo will be painted black to match.

Will post pics when I get her back together, next week after paint she goes to the dealer and they put on the mirrors and the new door handles and buckets in black for me.

To be continued.....
