I've been asked by a lot of board members about the location of the holes in my winch cradle.

I'm attaching pictures of the holes I drilled in my cradle. I drilled the holes to pull the cradle in as close as possible to the bumper without any rubbing.

Here is the vertical hole I drilled for the front cradle. The hole I use for the hitch pin is the hole underr the "ty" the other 2 holes to the right were the "stock" holes that left the cradle sticking way too far out.

Here is the offset for the horizontal hole used to mount the hitch in the rear.

Both of these postitions give about 1/8" of wasted stickout... which is not very much!

Here is a picture of the elusive GM front "hitch pin".

My dealer told me it didn't exist until one of the board members here gave me the GM part number....

This is a no win situation...

The truth is that it was the only thing I had in my pocket...

Oh yeah... and the holes are all 5/8ths.

Here... let me give you a puzzle to figure out:

How or what am I going to be using these snorkles for on my H2? (I really will be installing these... can you guess what they are for?)

Hmmm, I say its some kind of diverter tube so that when the money falls out of your ass it goes through the tube and into some kind of receptacle to catch it.

Hah - reminds me of the Money out of the Wazoo E-Trade Superbowl ad (hit the 2000 tab - second E-Trade ad)...then I got a few laughs looking at some of the other old ones.

The 10K was for the aircompressor design.

The horn design changes... the factory ate the cost of those. Now I just need to figure out what to do with 350 of air horns...

...besides installing ALL of them on my Gobi rack!

(what a mental picture that is!!)
