umm well i cant really think cuz i was sleepin about 5min ago, but the alarm on the H3 woke me up and it was raining really hard outside so i went out there gettin ready to start shootin and nobody was there. anyways, i stopped the alarm, and reset it, and immediately after resetting it it started going off again, and again. so i just locked it without puttin the alarm on. it started up fine and everything. idk im too tired...peace out. if urs did it or somin then let me know. it was raining really hard and windy.

Sounds like it's time to make a trip to the dealer and have them adjust the facory alarm sensitivity.

Mine just did the same thing few days ago. It was in the garage. The garage was locked. The wife heard it, checked it out and said it reset itself on it's own.

Does the H3 have a motion detector in it's alarm system? Can wind, rain or an impact set it off? Thought it was only for doors opening without the remote. Need to re-read my manual I guess...

For what it's worth, I just read my H2 manual last night (don't know if it has the same type of alarm), and I'm pretty sure there's no mention of a motion-sensor component to the alarm system.

There was nothing in the garage like I said it was locked so it couldn't be motion. I did just talk to the wife and she said that one of the dome lights was left on.Could a drop in electrical system cause this? It did reset itself! she said it went off for about a minute and then reset.

Maybe adjust the sensitivity if you can. That is what we used to do on our Talon Tsi. Rain used to set it off and bird poo too!

There isn't any type of motion sensor- in fact you can bust a window out and it won't set off the alarm. But- the alarm will go off if the door is opened after reaching through the window and unlocking it.

There is no "adjustment" to the alarm- it either works right or it doesn't.
