Default Whatcha doin' today?

Not really interested in what the goyim are up to. I get the whole turkey dinner picture. Sugar plums dancing and all that crap. What about the MOTs?

Unfortunately, marrying a MOT didn't solve my dilemma. She has sisters that married gentiles so I still have to go to xmas dinner of all things. She has to work some today and I am trying to get a little done. Still have a couple of closings this year later in the week. Hopefully to Steamboat tomorrow. Still no truck, though. Asshat mechanics are LAZY bastages and are about a day or so behind on what they're telling me. I drove by on Friday and saw it in the lot, so I called and was told it was on the alignment rack. That kind of thing.

My snowboarding plans were grounded by my truck too.
I sympathize with ya Adam.

Stoopid dealership need 3+ weeks to get a service appointment, and I'm sure there gonna keep it for 2 besides yet.

The owner of the garage already called this morning. As usual, got the story abut how they're pulling the t case now. He of course told me that Friday afternoon, too. He asked me what my plan was and I said that if I didn't get it back today I would cancel my trip to Steamboat and disappoint the family and never use him again. It shouldn't take 2 weeks for any service.

The truck is at All American 4x4. I was just there. It's defintely the tranny making noise. It's shot. 3 days to rebuild it.

The leveling kit is awesome though. Makes the truck look great.

Well since I have many friend who are not MOT I was at COSTCO at 9 this morning buying gifts.

Before that got up at 4:30 AM and went to buy cards, then StarBucks Latte, then a bagel & CC w/Nova. onions & eggs...

After Costco went to a friends house to change her lightbulbs, home, nap and now on the puter...

Gonna wrap gifts soon, get some prep work ready for tomorrow(mom thinks shes Christian) ...making a Duck, boneless leg of lamp, fresh cranberries, baked fresh sweet potatoes, homemade applesauce, maybe a simple dressing/stuffing(cornbread/cheastnuts/oysters) etc etc

Hope all the NON MOT have a nice day tomorrow and think its cool they celebrate the birthday of a nice Jewish Boy...

Mozel Tov...

Being Martha. Getting prepped for tomorrow....baked 2 pies, made the green bean casserole in advance, got the dip ready for the dill taters and shrimp with chipotle dip, butterflied the shrimp. Just have to bake cookies for Santa this afternoon (aka "dessert" after the boy goes to sleep).

Hubby is off to Home Depot to get shelving for the garage (only had to work 1/2 day today). Sent my dad with him so he doesn't come home with any "extras." The man is notorious for buying stuff for himself off his wish list just days before Christmas. Now you know why women stab their husbands during the holidays.
