Gettin' all blacked out!
I'm almost done, only thing left is the emblems....Neo, how'd you tape those off?
Got this shot in the evening, camera on a tripod & Maglight in hand. 30 sec exposure, walked around & lit up the truck with the flashlight!

Re: Gettin' all blacked out!
Looks awesome. Why dont you pull the emblems off with a heat gun and put back on with that 3M double tape like TGL did.
Nice camera work by the way. Im not that smart, I just went to school to learn photoshop.

Re: Gettin' all blacked out!
How are the black painted wheels holding up? Is the paint pretty durable? I tried to buy black, steel wheels today, but due to rubbing, I couldn't keep them. I'm trying to anti-bling mine, so I'm considering painting the wheels and leaving the outer lip silver. Also, where did you get that rack above the spare tire? Very cool rig!

I cleaned & sanded the wheels, taped off the tires, then sprayed with Krylon Semi-Flat. Dries quick, no chips yet, easy enough to add a coat later.
Welded up that rear rack myself, do a search & see if you like mine or Cookie's better!

Re: Gettin' all blacked out!
put thin carboard like a beer or coke box torn in little peices behind the logos and then tape off around it and then spray it.
