Default Tires

It's time for new tires. I do mostly highway/city driving with the exception of heavy snow.

Stock rims.

Should I stick with the BFG A/T (oem) or try something like a cooper at/3? Any other suggestions?

I've hat toyo M/Ts and I just don't need that much of a mud tire.

I'm on my third set of BFGs and love them. I get about 45000 to 50000 miles out of each set.

BFG T/A KO's have been the best all-around tire for me. I've been through 3 sets(170K miles). If you get them siped at Les Schwab they are unstoppable in snow & ice. I'm going to get another set soon. I might try the new KO2's though.

Thanks guys. As always..... when it's time to buy tires I get sucked into new rims.

So I ended up with Cooper ST maxx and Chrome Fuel Hostage 20" wheels.

It will look just like this Hummer - http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...96&postcount=6

Now I need some slotted roters .... any suggestions? Not looking to get the best out there, just something that's not junk and will add some stopping power.

I have 60K Miles on mine with only 50% wear. This way they should last till 120K Miles!! Unbelievable. Best tires I ever had on any SUV.

Hands down BFG's for me as well. Got so many miles out of the first set it was a no brainer when I had to replace them. Why slotted rotors? I also have found the stock rotors to be my replacements. Did the rears last year because of an issue with my emergency brake and at 71000 miles on the original set, I am thinking about doing the front in the spring.
