Hello all, new here. Just wanted to show off my toy. Not nearly as nice as some of the others here, but I like it . Goes in on Monday for the Ziebart treatment. Anyone have anything good/bad to say about the Ziebart?

Ah yes, I have read many of your very helpful threads PhilD. I wont be off-roading much (let the flames begin, lol) so I hope that the Ziebart holds up good. I am getting the undercarriage and the bottom of the doors done. I was thinking about the diamond gloss treatment but have a friend who had it done and says its really not worth it. I will be getting a cover for it anyway since it is only driven for pleasure (have a small pickup for work).

I'm happy with my Ziebart. Just point out where you don't want them to spray. I didn't know about the wheel wells at the time, so I didn't ask them not to spray them. My skid plate wasn't sprayed, but I guess my guy just listens better than Phil's

You can also opt to go in for a yearly checkup/touchup on Ziebart for 34.95 or something.

Pretty cheap for a big "peace of mind."

Also, it may even dampen some of the underbody sound as that is part of the treatment. So less sound on the interior for all!

Thanks for all the replies guys. I just may have run into a huge problem. Does the Ziebart treatment void the warranty? Talking to some of my neighbors this seems to be the case. If so, I think I would hold off on it as the warranty is much more important to me at this point than a little rust.

If anyone knows the facts on this please respond. It goes in monday so I have to know whether or not to cancel.

Should not void warranty since many dealerships up north offer it to customers as an add-on the the price. My problem is after I moved, nearest Ziebart facility is St. Louis so never made it back for the annual check up.

Check out the OkC Chapter Page!

Why even get it done? I live in NJ and I have never had a car rust out. Well I only keep cars 1 or 2 years anyway, but I never see rusted out cars or trucks unless they are over 10yrs old. I would save the $$ and get something else done to the rig IMO. How much does it cost anyway?

Well I got the Ziebart done after finding out that it does not void the warranty. They were a little sloppy in some places but overall underneath of the H2 looks much better. In my opinion is was a good $200 investment.

Now on to the locking fuel door...

Well 200.00 is not bad, but I realy dont see a need for it. In NJ about 6-8yrs ago all dealers would always try to sell extra undercoating. They no longer do becuase they know it is a waste of money. Especially since the average person only keeps a car 3-4yrs. If you plan on keeping the H2 forever then it maybe a good idea but I never keep a car more then 3yrs anyway.
