yellow 07 h3
2007 h3, base, sunroof, auto, trailering pkg...additions: gm chrome mirrors, handles, hood vent, hummer vent visors, chrome nerf bars, gas tank cover...aftermarket billet chrome hood handles, antenna base cover, chrome trim (tail lights, turn signals, front bumper, rear gate)...not shown: shorty antenna, chrome trim(side marker lights) Underbody LED's just in and waiting for installation.
Can anyone tell me what the tire specifications are for 20 in wheels? I want to make sure the tires don't stick out much further past the fenders than the factory tires. Having trouble finding someone who knows the backspacing.

Check the Vogue Tyre website for ideas on 20's.
These will work without sticking out too much from fenderline:
20"x9" with 30mm offset
20"x8.5" with 28mm offset

I don't intend to go off road with it. I intend to show it after I finish putting the chrome on it. It's tempting but I have a 4-wheeler for that. How badly will 20" affect the gas mileage? I've never heard of that.

Mileage difference is small (about 1 mile to gallon difference assuming you stay with a tire of rolling diameter of 32" to 33" max).
Many on this forum still use their H3's with 20's offroad, because they've selected appropriate offroad tires.
I only use my H3 for light offroading, so I'm using Nitto Terra Grappler (all terrain) 305/50/20 tires.
