MILEAGE ON BFG MTs?

How many miles is everyone getting out of their 35" BFG MTs? I am looking to purchase a set and I do a LOT of driving on the highway. I know I would get more out of an AT but the I LOVE the look of the MTs. One more thing, does your fuel/miles per gallon take a big hit? Thanks for everyone's input!!!!

I'll be honest. For highway you are not going to get much out of them. They are not siped, and they are really soft. The Pro Comp MT are pretty agressive and are siped so on road traction is better, not as loud, and they will last significantly longer. I have run both on previous rigs. I was pretty hard on my BFG MTs I think I pulled about 25-30K out of them. How ablut the Goodyear MTRs?

The goodyears are supposed to be even softer than the bfg's, and don't wear as well as the bfg's.

I bought a set of 35 BFG MT last week.... but I got a extra set of rim so I can swap them out as needed

i dont have the BFGs, got the 35 toyos. Didnt really notice a difference in the mpg, maybe 1 mpg lower, but thats even exagerated(spelling??? ). Had the pcmforless thing done this thursday and i think the pcm mpg gain and the 35 mpg loss canceled themselves out, cauze im back where i started around 13 mpg.

Thanks for the advice. I was also looking at the PROCOMP. They look good and yes siped will help on the noise, ride and life of the tire. I'll wait and see how many other replies I receive b4 making the purchase.

How many miles did you get out of your ProComp MTs?

I was up to almost 40K on the ProComps when I sold the truck, and I had about 20% drivable tread left on there. Dont get me wrong the BFG have excellent traction off road. They just dont last as long, or wear as well as others, as stated previously by H3slate, and the Goodyears are siped. Driving habits are a big factor too though.

Dont worry they are killer tires...off the road. They bite and hold, thats for sure.

Everyone read the topic correctly. I just wasn't clear on what info I was looking for from everyone. I wanted to know roughly how many miles I could expect to get out of the BFG's, ProComps or any tire of that sort. I also wanted to know by putting on any 35" tire how much of a hit would I take on the mpg. Like I said on the post earlier, I do a ton of highway driving. I average about 600 per week. I thank everyone for their opinion!

There's a local guy with a lift Z71 I know running the same 35" BFG MT's I am.. He's at 50,000 miles, they've got another 15,000 in them.. He's very good about rotating and balancing every 7500 miles though..

He runs 'em in mud a good bit, but I don't think he's done anything on rocks.. One thing I noticed after one trip to Superlift is that rock crawling will be the death of them before the road will..
