Default I found a way to disable Traction Control when offroad!!!

Found out today that if you change your tire size to a very large tire size setting, using a handheld programmer, that it will disable traction control. Keep in mid that your speedo will not be accurate and you'll have an error on the dash until you put the settings back to where they should be.

This will come in handy sometimes

I hope I'm not blowing smoke here but, it seems I talked to a Hummer tech about a year ago on wiring a switch inline with fuse so traction control could be turned off.

Just throwing it out there so it may be a question to ask a tech again.

Just lightly push the brake pedal and the TCS will go off. Two feet driving required.

Aww C'mon man. There's gotta be a way to wheel without having to deal with all this braking and acceleration crap.

I already use BTM, but there are times when you want want more wheel slippage than TC2 allows. Going up muddy or loose terrain hills is when I want to deactivate it.

Is it possible to wire a switch that activates the rear stop lights. Wouldn't this be what the partial braking does? Maybe When the brake lights come on it feeds a circuit that tells the traction control to disengage. So having a switch that turns on the lights, would do the same thing. ????????

Try it and let us know if it works!
