Default Winch Cable Question

How large dia. can I go if I use Synthetic line at 100 feet? I'm using a warn 9.5ti winch. Any brands better the others? I want to get100 ft of 3/8 inch on with the 10 ft of chafe guard. Will it fit?

I have a T-Max 9K winch with 100 feet of 3/8 winch line, and it fits just fine. Could have probably gone with 125 feet! I use the combo red fire-line for the first 25 feet, then 75 feet of the blue armid line with a steel loop end. Check out winchline.com you'll love the stuff. The whole 100 feet only weighs a couple of pounds. Beter yet if it breaks, it will not violently recoil like wire rope.

It will fit. I have that exact setup - a 9.5ti with 100 ft of 3/8, plus the guard. It definitely fills it full, but it works just fine.
