Default 4" Suspension + 2" Body or 6" Suspension?

Which is the better set-up?

If you mess with body then you get to deal with making the bumpers line up as well as redoing the rocker panel guards

^agreed. Body lifts are worthless IMO due to the other issues with them. Not only getting the bumpers to line up but if the wire harnesses, cables, etc are too short they'll have to be lengthened.

I'd say go for a full suspension lift. That's the route I'm going at some point.

Guess I'll be going with the 6" inch suspension. On a difficulty rating of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, how would you rate installation for a Do-it-yourselfer.

I couldn't give you a number as I haven't done any suspension work on mine yet. I do all my own work and have thoroughly researched the various suspension lifts out there and it all depends which brand you buy.

For instance some of them require cutting the top mount off the front differential while others don't. some require a little welding when others don't.

Personally a HUGE selling point of mine is a kit that can go back to stock, so a kit that doesn't heavily modify any parts such as the front differential. I have pretty much set my sights on the Bulletproof kits since there is no crazy cutting or welding with them.

As badly as I want to lift mine I do love the fact I can hide it away in the garage with the roof rack.
