What head unit are you going with? I had wondered about the rear door for subs. Puts some in the tailgate of a Rodeo for someone about 15 years ago and they sounded great. Are they going to Dynomat the door while they are in there? What are you putting back there? Please post pics and a review when you get it back.

Squizz.

The new Korn rocks. Love it! They have also been playing the new Zombie, Powerman 5000, etc. They also love Tool and Audio Slave as well.

By the way, Steve, did you record your first album for RivetHead at Siren Studios?

H3OH 09-27-2005 08:22 PM

So, if I shot a text message to Squizz and request some RivetHead, what song should I ask to play?

Yeah Joe Sidoti did the 1st demo at Sirens... Joe's great - would like to know where he is now!

I would ask Squizz for "WAIT"... and if they don't have it - I need to make sure they do!

bparker 09-27-2005 08:38 PM

The first 3 are sooooo good havent made it to the rest yet..

Err... ask for Complicated or Another Day... and then turn it up all the way then rip the knob off!

bparker 09-27-2005 08:45 PM

These songs are soo good its nuts!

Tell your base player to quit holding back and go ahead and man handle those strings. Thump them till they break. You can totaly hear hes really good but if he will hit them harder "complicated" would be a masterpiece!

bparker 09-27-2005 08:48 PM

Ohh, wait lets keep this is perspective here - I am listening to this on crappy pc speakers too.... (/flailwildy) I need the CD to put these on my vegas

It's cool hearing The Ramones in regular rotation and other bands like The Dead Kennedys... That is bad ass that you are related to one of the guys in The Offspring!!!
I'm a fan! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Kevin (Noodles) is my brother.

ckhagman 09-28-2005 10:41 AM

That is cool that he is your brother. The closed I have ever gotten is the following:

Went to the same college as the founding memebers of ISLE OF Q, and work with their old drummer. I have been in the basement of a condo where the drums of the Bloohhound gange are stored.

ckhagman 09-28-2005 10:42 AM

Octane 20 on Sirius places some great rock. Korn, zombie, etc.

Most of my time is spent on the comedy channels and they have a request show for comedy on weekdays which is pretty cool.

Surferjo 09-28-2005 11:05 AM

I have had both and I kind of like the stations better on Sirius.

Really good classic rock and alternative stations, Raw Dog is way better than any of the comedy stations XM had.

Howard is reason enough to go with Sirius.

Somebody a ways back said Sirius repeats songs a lot and that is totally true.

Also I don’t know if its cause my wrangler cant put the antenna on the roof (must be mounted to a steel surface, cant do that with the dual tops on a wrangler) but I felt like I got better reception on XM.

Wow I guess I am the odd ball here as I didnt like XM at all really. I thought the rock stations blew bunghole.

My H3 is in the shop as I type this post switching over to SIRIUS and also having some subs installed into the rear door.

From my perspective I liked Sirius alot more sue to the better rock selections.

Here is my listening taste though:

Korn
Rob Zomibe
Pantera
Metalica
Tool
Audio Slave
Etc.. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I've heard almost everyone of those bands play on squizz, and I dont even listen to it regularly. I like a little bit of everything. I love bands like you mentiond (I've seen almost every one of those you mentioned in concert), but I mix it up with electronica, classic rock and talk radio (I know, a motley combination right?).

HIHUMMER 09-28-2005 11:52 AM

Question for you guys that do listen to squizz (i've only heard this song on there...) the song "BEER"...what's the name of the band? Thanks!

H3OH 09-28-2005 11:58 AM

Low Riders On the Storm sings the song "Beer".

I remember hitting the display button as I have it set to show Song only...and saw "Low Riders of the Sto" on there. The text was cut off since it was long. :-)

H3OH 09-28-2005 12:01 PM

But, I remember there is also a song by Bombsquad called Beer. Squizz plays them both, but Bombsquads is the harder of the two.
