...blushing? Well, as described in the imortal words of Edmund Jeigh...

"It’s a shade of Red
I can’t resist
A rushing of Blood
That wets the lips

A shade of Red
That pricks our skin
A warmth inside
A feeling from within

That shade of Red
Control can’t shove
A breath released
In this dance of Love"

A great activity (and cheap)that I did was to rate the gelato in each town/city that we visited. The best in my mind those many years ago was next to the Duomo in Florence/Firenze. Have fun. It is definitely the best place in Europe. Watch out for the Gypsy kids, they'll distract you and then take your wallet before you know it. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I also rated the Gelato, but I did it by city block not city. Its all good! As for pick pockets, I keep a fake wallet in my back pocket and it has never been taken I think the thiefs are to scared to try and take it.

I can make out butt, door and sleep.

Weeeeird.

I dated a guy that studied architecture in Rome, (Let's call him Fruitboy) he went there for a semester or two with Penn State for his masters. Maybe it was a year...who knows, but Fruitboy said there was so much to do there. The pictures and stories were amazing. Even though it is not a small town, the art and the history could keep anyone occupied for a long time. So make sure you get there in time to see some of it.

I also heard that a lot of "Romans" speak English. So that's good.

A lot of Romans do speak English, so be careful. Be sure to check the prices on your meals before you order them, and then reconcile them when you get your bill. They'll get you if they can. If you can, speak Italian or Spanish. Other than that, do like h2co said - prepare to spend a lot of time there. Rome is amazing; there's just too much to see. And then go to Venice to relax and catch your breath.
