I only have one suggestion. I would change to a set of 18's or 20's. I'm from the old school so it was hard for me to buy 20's when I bought 38's.

The reason being that the larger sidewall from using 16's makes the tires that much harder to balance because of so much flex. Less sidewall, more rigid.

No rule, just a suggestion.

the mounting and balancing will tire pckage.com worries right? they say they will ship monted and balanced this is what u are referring to right? maybe since it is a mail order transaction they will do a ****ty job? im new to all this so fill me in thanks and i really value the help

No, not at all... (that they do a shiety job) It just seems that every truck I've had with a lift kit and big tires, I've always had a balancing problem. (I've always run 16" rims)

The problem is that the sidewalls are so tall. Assuming that those tires really measure 39" tall (they're probably closer to 37-38's) with 16" rims, you'll have 11.5" of sidewall. That's a TON of sidewall.

I've got 38's (which really measure 37") with 20"rims. That's 9" of sidewall. 2" of sidewall make a difference.

Perhaps someone else can chime in on this.

Good luck mounting a 16" rim when the smallest you can go is 17." on an H2.
As far as looking level, look at the pics of KenP and PhilD trucks. Both have 38's and Fabtech 6".

39's will rub like a monkey yanking himself when you go offroad. Since you'll be sure to join us one day at Paragon I'd go with the 38's on an 18. No bigger for the tire.

Also, consider the 15.5 wide tire and get a 4.5" backspace.

All I know I learned from Phil.
