I recently bought a log cabin with 80+ arces. I had a chance to head up there for the last 12 days and went bowhunting. I shot this 7 pointer (first deer taken on the land since I bought the place.) and put him on the back of the 4-wheeler trailer. Set his head so that it would stick out the back. Then hook-up the new H2 and drove into town to get the deer process. It was fun. I couldn't tell if the kids were staring at the buck or the H2!!
After I got home I was able to check the digital camera I had up there. Go figure. 3 super nice bucks on it. Walk right by that spot a few times. Can't wait to get back out.

Have you seen a rump monkey? My banker has one and it's a doe rump with eyes and junk made to look like a monkey's face. Pretty funny looking.

We have many that look like that in VT...they are stuffed and work for the dept of fish & game. It's tail wags and the head moves back and forth.
People shoot it at night, and then the blue lights come on!

Another Vegas H2 . . . hello neighbor.
I was in Ely with a group of H2s the weekend after you took that picture. There were so many hunters up there then I don't think the critters had a chance!

I own it but live 300 miles to the north of there.
The rut is on, I shot this one yesterday (was chasing a doe).

I have 2 of them and have sold maybe 20 others & no problems. I always try to face them to the north so I dont have to worry about the suns reflections in the pictures or it heating up the camera. I think I usually have about 100 pictures on them when I swap the compact flash cards and never more than one blank if any.

Damn Rich, you never did invite me up to go hunting.
Is that your Cuddeback? Have you had any trouble with it? I got one of the first ones and have sent it back twice and it still falses all the time. I get tons of blank pics.
It's been screwed to a tree all summer and I haven't even touched it because I was getting so pissed at it.

NJH2 , I can tell already i like your father. Throws the moose on the roof , doesnt get worried about a little blood, scratches or dents. Did he come up to maine to shoot that??? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yeah, the Father figure is a great guy! Retired NYC Fireman from Brooklyn. Those guys are the best!
Funny thing is, the roof partially caved in when they put it up there! He said " OH ****!, well nothing we can do about it now" and continued on to the weigh in where they lifted it up to weigh it and then put it back up there. He got lots of questions about how he got the Moose up there in the first place!
After he dropped it at the butcher to roof bounced back to normal!

Got to love those Wisconsin bucks. I got a 12 pointer running around here right now, but SOMEBODY decide that you cant hunt here. Its ok, one of these days I'm gonna nail that guy with my truck, after I get more horsepower, he's quick. Real quick. Someday...

Super nice deer. Do you own or work at that Bitter Creek sport shop?
I see its only 33 miles from my house in Wi. If so I would like to stop in sometime and say hi etc.
I just bought my hummer three weeks ago or so. And was wondering where you like to go off-roading? Or whatever...
p.s do you think the rut is on?
