under what kind of condition to lock the rear differential?
On the adventure H3, what is the rule of thumb to use that feature ??

i leave mine unlocked most of the time , after a while you get to know when you will need it . just try getting up the obstacle without rear locked , if you start to get some wheel spin push the locker button , truck will usually crawl right up . the next step if still having trouble is BTM , apply the brakes while giving it gas slowly let up on brake till truck starts moving keep that tension on your brake until clearing the obstacle let off brake and unlock rear till next obstacle . leaving the rear locked for long periods can build up heat . think of it as a "use as needed" feature  we dont recommend doing this without one

thanks for the info..are all the H3 going up there ok, look like it is more than a 45 degree angle going up..wonder how is look like when going down..
