HELP, need to replace one of my 3's
Well I tried...
BUT
Mom & her H-3 are not a good match. At 81 years young and 5 foot tall it seems that shes not happy, its a little to bulky for her plus the inside headroom is really not enought for her Great Danes.
SO
(please forgive me) Does anyone have any experience with the Honda Element? She wants a BOXY vehicle (NOT A SCION B) not to big but tall inside(for the dogs), something more in line for a short 81 year old granmother with 2 Great Danes. Any ideas on another vehicle besides the Element?
Any GOOD ideas would be appreicated (please leave your wise ass answers off this one).
Thanks in advance...

How about this one, if you're looking for some head room...

Thanks,
Gona look at the Element group site...
Land Rover has one of the WORST defect and repair records out there. Did a lot of checking, plus the price is a bit high...

Maybe something like the upcoming Saturn Outlook would be a good match? Perhaps a bit too big, maybe too long to wait.

Re: HELP, need to replace one of my 3's
I traded my Element for the Hummer.
To be quite honest, it is a much better vehicle than the H3 for town use.
Bigger headroom, more usable space, utilitarian design, enough pockets and compartments to loose your wallet, and enough power for driving around town and a bit of dirtroads.
The only thing is that the ground clearance may be too high for you granny. My mom is 5ft. tall and she had a harder time getting in and out of the Element than the H3. I guess I have the sidesteps on my H3 so she found it easier to get in and out off. Perhaps with the sidestep on the Element it will work be for granny.
Element is a bang for the buck, you can't go wrong with a Honda. Never had any recall on it...Nada...worked perfectly for 3 years, and a little better gas mileage than the H3.
The H3 however, looks alot meaner on the road, and performs awesome off-road from stock!

I know you posted this a few days ago- but I owned an Element for almost 4 yrs. I absolutely loved it. Drove nicely, was pretty comfy. My only issue with it was that I ended up needing more than a 4 seater. Otherwise I probably would've kept it. The gas mileage was pretty decent and it was very roomy. I think she'd probably like one!
