Default 2004 H2

What are your thoughts on a 2004 H2 with 100K miles? It has had synthetic oil in it since the beginning. It is a one owner and I have worked for the guy that owns it. If the price is right, would you consider it? What kind of maintenance would I be looking at with this mileage? Thanks for the help.

I personally wouldn't buy an '04. They had defective widget valve intakes.

If the price is right and its what you want, go for it. Obviously it is like any other vehicle with 100k on it, things are going to go wrong with it. If the price is right though, why not? You can always trade it in on an '07.

The $5.39 phufnik pins cured that problem.

Right. But aren't the phufnik pins prone to slippage, which can damage the turbulator hooblanoids?

If that's true, then I'd say go for it. Get the '04, but make sure the fananganin coating is applied with the Teflon-27 applicator.

As long as the phufnik pins are aligned properly with the serpintine shaftoids the turbulator hooblanoids will be safe.
