Did anyone hear about the new DUB-AIR CAI for the H2? I am thinking about getting it. Who already has one installed and how do you like it?

I built an adapter that mounts the K&N cone filter inside the stock airbox. Better flow (probably only slightly) and maintains the separation from the engine heat.

If it does not seal from the engine heat it will reduce power by increasing the air temp entering the throttle body.

Is there a cover that goes over the Dub-Aior filter box?
If not, it will actually increase intake temp, as it obviously wouldn't fully seal against the hood and would be taking in the very hot air from under the engine compartment. Kind of a Hot Air Induction system
Have you sold many to H2 owners yet? </div></BLOCKQUOTE> </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

A cat would have been just fine with this intake.
The only known incompatibility is with dogs.
He should have known it would kill his dog.
Don't blame the dog's death on the manufacturer.
Everybody knows about the dangers of mixing dogs and cold air intakes.

H4L, I will let you know when I decide to Pimp My Ride and add some "horsepower robbing non-heat dissapating chrome" in a critical area such as my air intake.
BTW, this will have to wait until I get my grill blinging first: http://www.mrbling.com/browseproducts/Index.html

Does it??? Are you sure your putting out the full 480hp it could? Maybe maybe not. If your supercharger is restricted your not getting the most out of it. Check with the Manufacture, do they recommend a high flow air filter.

Makes perfect sense... make it for $10, sell it for $400... very profitable.
Oh!!! You meant it was supposed to make a big difference & work!!
(Sorry)

IMHO buying an aftermarket intake/filter is the equivalent to what I was doing 25 years ago... "Flipping the 'breather." It made an evil noise at WOT, but that was all it did. Oh, and it was a fire hazard if the engine backfired!
If Magnacharger thought that the supercharger kit needed an aftermarket air cleaner/filter they would have included it in the kit.
If you bolted on all the crap that’s available as aftermarket “performance” parts on your truck (and the manufacturers claims of HP gain were true) – Your engine would end up making 5,000 HP!
The best thing most of these intakes/filters do is to separate you from your money.

Have you tested the Brokeback DUB air-rammer intake for fluid draw?
