If you're serious about the dirt, an H3 Alpha is what you want. The V8 just makes it possible to live through the time until you can get it dirty again.

I'm not knocking the V8, but the only torture I've experienced between trail runs is Moab withdrawal. At least they made no bones about its offroad and town performance.

I have been driving v8's my whole life up until I purchased this H3.
It isn't a drag race vehicle, but I have no issue or problem with the pick-up or the highway speed. Calling the highway performance of the I-5 "anemic" is a little harsh in my opinion.
