Probably won't be popular on here with all the "bling" haters.

I am thinking of getting nerf bars for my H3. I don't want to get factory when I can get it done for a fraction of the cost. Do you guys recommend chrome or stainless steel? I hear chrome rusts pretty bad. Also thinking of getting a chrome fuel door. Is the fuel door hard to install? If so, should I go factory on this? Factory prices are outrageous but I want it done right. Thanks in advance.
