General Motors has unveiled a 'green' version of the Hummer H3 that runs on E85 ethanol-based bio-fuel.
The H3 FlexFuel
retains the regular H3's 5.3-litre V8 engine* and its four-wheel drive system, but GM says the exterior has been smoothed off to make the car more aerodynamic, helped by revised suspension that lowers the ride height by 50mm.
GM has not quoted any economy figures for the FlexFuel version of the 'baby' Hummer but says it is significantly more efficient than the standard H3's 20mpg combined fuel consumption.
* How can an engine be "retained," if it is not available...yet?
Besides E85 is a rip off...
