Well, the Sierra's in the shop. I've GOT to figure out a way to keep the rodents from getting at the wires. I'm shootin' 'em, poisoning them, you name it, they're screwin' faster than I can kill 'em!
Anyway, I had to go get a load of lumber so I took the H3 with a borrowed trailer. It was a trailer with no brakes. I had a little less than a ton on the trailer. The H3 does pretty well. It downshifted at every rise and when I got to the mountains with it, it was pretty much a 2nd gear, 3000rpm affair for twenty miles. It'll do the job. I wouldn't want to do it all the time. The weight of the H3 is evident in cornering, the trailer didn't push the H3 around very much. Stiffer shocks in the back and tires with a higher load range/stiffer side walls would've made it even better.
