My front end was lifted from the previous owner via torsion bars (maybe an 1" - 1.5" or so). Also, if using the HMMWV wheels, you will need a solid 2" Billet aluminum spacer (mybilletadapters.com) -Richard is who I used and got them to me pretty quick. High quality!
