I finished a lot of mods to my H2 this weekend but this one still baffles me. How do I install a chrome air intake cover. When trying to get the stock cover off I can't seem to find a way to get the center posts out of the 6 clips that hold it down.

Anyone install this and know of a good way. The vent did not come with any new mounting hardware so I think it is ideal to no mess up the centerpost clips that are with the factory vent

Just take a small screw driver and push in the small posts on the clips. The old cover will come right off, then by hand push out each post before install. When you put the clip back in with the new intake vent cover just push the post flush. Thats it! BIG-C

Dooouugh! This was the easiest install of them all - guess I was a bit tired.

I installed hood handles, hood latches, polished skid plate, chrome locking gas cap, side vents, and just never figured to push those little posts in.

Thanks Circuitguy now my day is complete.
