Sadly the marker light cam's are not worth a **** especially with an over size tire. With the stock tire on the carrier all you see is the back and top of the tire then out to infinity. It would be worse with a 37inch tire in place. No amount of adjustment of the marker light cam will allow you to see what is below the tire i.e the hitch if you're backing up a trailer or a childs bike parked just behind the tire. It's useless in my opinion.

H2Finally have you considered a hitch cam? It doesn't solve your problem of the hole in your bummper if you remeove the cam that is there unless you leave the cam where it is and simply unhook it or run both video feeds to your display and switch them to whichever view you want to see.
