I was in hastings (sp?) and saw a magazine( the name escapes me) reviewing all the trucks and SUVs for '04. In "Our Top Picks" section the H2 came out on top beating out such SUVs as G500, Range Rover, H1, Escalade,Navigator etc. Pretty interesting article. I would suggest checking it out, once i can remember the name.

It's about time that a mag was honest in their ratings/comparisons of the H2. We deal w/ so much bull**** from the eco-asses, who ignorantly slam our MPG that's equal or similar to all other vehicles the H2's size. For those of us who want/need an auto to function offroad without grinding the undercarriage and cute little front and rear bumpers (ie superior approach and departure angles) it's about time to hear about honest comparisons. It's overdue as far as I'm concearned. I'll look for it on the mag stand.

No i didnt even know about it,and I do a lot of motocross so I am very familar with that track. On the other note I dont own a Hummer, i am just fanatic and a firm hater in eco people, ELF is a big problem in our world, the published a book on how to injure dirt bikers. It showes how sick these people are. If i saw one i would gladly run one down without thought.

Sadly the Galendewagen (G500) is/has been made a luxury vehicle but I have been off-road with one and they are incredible. I have not seen this article either but judging from what was said the G-Wagen and the H2 are the only ones that probably should have been tested. The G-Wagen still comes from the factory with the same military kind of stuff but yet with street tires.

Hey Everyone,Sorry I took so long to reply. The article is in this Months Motor Trends 04/05 Truck& SUV buyers guide. The Catagory the H2 won in was the Ultimate-Proformance SUV catagory.
